Ballyvaughan village is one of the discovery points in Co Clare along the Wild Atlantic Way, and is only a few minutes’ walk from Hazelwood Lodge. The village is at the heart of world renowned The Burren limestone landscape area that surrounds this enchanting town, with its amazing history and archaeology, home to over 700 plants and considered to be one of Europe’s richest botanical areas where Alpine, Mediterranean and Arctic plants grow side by side.
