4. Tea and Garden Rooms
   Located near the pier in Ballyvaughan, the owner of these gorgeous tea rooms, Jane O’Donoghue looks forward to welcoming you to this pretty day time restaurant. The tea rooms overlooks Galway bay and entered through a lovely front garden, this delightful stone restaurant dates back to 1790, when it was built as a residence for "coast security officers". Nearly two centuries later it was bought in a derelict condition by the O"Donoghue family, who then rebuilt it and opened it as a tea room and gardens in 1981.
   Pop in at lunch time for some delicious seafood and salads or sample some delicious homemade cake!

   The Tea Rooms is open from April to January from 11am to 5.30pm.
   The restaurant close Tuesdays and Wednesdays for September & October. They open Friday , Saturday & Sunday for November & December
